Ecos de Disidencia
As Curator for the groundbreaking exhibition Ecos de Disidencia at Revuelta Queer House, Kile Jworked closely with Dimitri Voulgaris to curate an exhibition that explored themes of resistance, identity, and the intersections of queer and political struggles. The exhibition featured thought-provoking artwork from various artists, providing a platform for marginalized voices within the queer community.
Kile played a key role in not only curating the exhibition but also leading the curation of the opening event, which included a powerful discussion on Palestine, tattoos by popular queer tattoo artists, and a DJ set. This event demonstrated Kile’s deep understanding of the exhibition’s themes, fostering an inclusive and open space for dialogue on global queer activism. The opening event, with its timely and relevant discussion, left a lasting impact on the queer community in Mexico City, creating a space where art, politics, and identity could intersect in meaningful ways.
Through this exhibition, Kile helped shape a conversation that resonated deeply within the community, positioning Revuelta Queer House as a key cultural space for both artistic expression and political discourse.
